Ask Katie, age 28, which Girls Inc. lesson has stuck with her for nearly two decades, and she’ll say it’s the ‘I can do it, too!’ attitude. “At the [Girls Inc.] program I went to, we were introduced to so many occupations that girls can do, too,” said Katie. “I was ten years old when I took the class, but I remember thinking ‘I have the strength to do anything.’ I knew I could do something, and it would be bigger than anything I had ever thought before.”

Your financial support is critical to our success in empowering girls like Katie! Donations of any size are put to excellent use!

Here are some ways in which your donations are used:

• $35 provides supplies (i.e. chart paper, markers, journals) for a six-week program of 17 girls.
• $70 pays for one day of summer camp programming for one girl.*
• $200 funds one Lunch Bunch program for a group of middle school girls.
• $700 pays for two weeks of summer camp programming for one girl.*
• $1,000 trains a group of five volunteers to facilitate Girls Inc. programs.

*Note: this is the cost to Girls Inc. to provide this service, not the fee to the girl's family.
