Meet the 2012 Touchstone Awards Chair
Girls Inc. is excited to announce Melissa Proffitt Reese as our 2012 Touchstone Awards chair! A 2006 Touchstone Awards honoree, Reese embodies the strong, smart, and bold qualities of the women honored each year.
A partner and a former Managing Partner at Ice Miller LLP, Reese chairs the agribusiness initiative and co-chairs the Employee Benefits Practice Group and the energy initiative. Reese is very involved in economic development initiatives with the City and State, participates in numerous trade missions and focuses her practice on employee benefits. A distinguished leader, Reese has received many awards for her professional practice.
Reese also volunteers her time for causes supporting diversity and women's issues, and participates on numerous boards including the United States, Indiana and Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Develop Indy, STAR Financial Bank, Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, and the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana.
