Our Very Own Girls Inc. Athletes
Abri Hochstetler, Public Relations Coordinator

This month we’ve focused on the impact sports can have on a girl’s life. We’ve described our personal accomplishments and lessons learned, and shared how women athletes have led the way and encouraged our own involvement with sports.

Sometimes inspiration comes from sisterhood – seeing other girls and women go before you. Below is a sampling of photos of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis staff members from their own athletic endeavors, playing or enjoying sports. Can you figure out who’s who? (Key below)

 Key:

  1. (left) Megan, Development Operations Manager
  2. (right) Jennifer, Branding and Technology Coordinator
  3. Karen, AmeriCorps VISTA Evaluation Specialist
  4. (left) Cassandra, AmeriCorps VISTA Development Specialist (Read her post, A Chance for Sports for All Girls)
  5. (right) Abri, Public Relations Coordinator (Read her post, Inspired by… Female Athletes)
  6. Christy, Director of Programs
  7. Emily, AmeriCorps VISTA Video Production Specialist (Read her post, What Sports Meant to Me)

What great photos, ladies! I especially loved JB's and MS's photos - how cute! And Abri, I had no clue until recently that you were/are a gymnast! Great posts, great photos :)
