Foundation support improves the quality of life for greater Indianapolis girls
In the Girls Inc. Work It Out program, supported in part by the Nicholas H. Noyes, Jr. Memorial Foundation, girls develop healthy communication skills and learn about the importance of friendship. In a recent Work It Out program at Decatur Intermediate Learning Center, the girls discussed the differences between a good friend and a bad friend. A good friend is honest, caring, and a good listener. A bad friend might spread rumors or be mean. One girl realized that she had been a bad friend in the past and said that the program, “made me think about the way I treat my friends and how I need to change for the better.”
The Nicholas H. Noyes, Jr. Memorial Foundation helps make programs like Work It Out possible! The Nicholas H. Noyes, Jr. Memorial Foundation strives to improve the quality of life in greater Indianapolis by contributing to organizations focused on the arts, community development, education, the environment, and health and human services. This year, the foundation renewed their annual gift to Girls Inc. at $9,000 and gave an additional gift of $5,000 to support expansion of our programs to more girls!
Thank you to the Nicholas H. Noyes Jr., Memorial Foundation for their continued support of Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis!
