Fay H. Williams to be honored at July 28 luncheon
By Ashley Craig, AmeriCorps VISTA Events Specialist

Girls Inc. is pleased to announce that Fay H. Williams will be honored at our 2010 “Making Herstory” Touchstone Awards.
Throughout her career, Williams has made herstory – girls’ and women’s history – for Indianapolis in numerous ways. Her civic involvement includes membership in the Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis, the Kiwanis Foundation Development Committee, Alpha Mu Omega, and the Butler Tarkington Neighborhood Association. She also helped found the Model Cities Girls Club in 1970, which later became Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis. Today, Williams maintains a private practice specializing in family law.
We hope you will join us as we celebrate Fay H. Williams, Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman, and Dr. Juana O. Watson, Ed.D. at the 2010 “Making Herstory” Touchstone Awards. The luncheon will take place Wednesday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Please check the next edition of our enewsletter for the story on our fourth honoree, Myra Borshoff Cook, APR, for the 2010 "Making Herstory" Touchstone Awards.
