I can’t believe 2011 is almost over. As the saying goes, “time flies when you are having fun.” It seems like it was just a few months ago that our board was developing our 2011-2013 strategic plan. Now, we are making plans for 2012. 

Girls Inc. has had an incredible year. If you don’t believe me, just look back at our year-end recap or watch our year-end video. Our programming staff had their best year yet (again!). We projected reaching just over 5,000 program registrations for 2011. Now, it seems we’ll end the year around 6,000. Our relationships with our partners and volunteers are stronger than ever, and combined with the good work of our fundraising and public relations efforts, Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis is a more recognized name in our community and a trusted charity of choice. 

Girls Inc. has achieved a lot in 2011, and we should be proud. But there is still work to be done, and you can help. Fulfill a new year’s resolution early; make your gift to Girls Inc. by December 31st. With your gift of $100 or more, you are eligible for tax credits up to 50% of the value of your gift.
