2010 Girls Inc. Summer Day Camps

Our summer camps are designed to inspire girls, ages 6-14, by challenging them mentally, enhancing their physical ability, promoting creativity, and encouraging them to take risks. Summer camp includes hands-on activities, lunches, and a friendly all-girl environment.

Summer camp is Monday- Friday from 8:00am – 5:30pm.
Camp will be CLOSED on July 5, 2010 (In observance of Independence Day).

Strong, Smart, Bold, and Inspired Camps

The Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis “Making Herstory” Day Camp  is an affordable eight-week program (split into four 2-week sessions) that focuses on the words in our mission statement – strong, smart, bold, and inspired.  Strong Girls Discover your strength! June 14 – 25 Smart Girls Find your inner genius!  June 28 – July 9 Bold Girls Be bold in all you do!  July 12 – July 23 Inspired Girls Get inspired!  July 26 – Aug 6 Learn more!

Camp GEMS (Girls Energized by Math and Science)  is an affordable two-week math and science camp for girls ages 11-14 at Marian University that will discuss “Going Green” in 2010.  GEMS Going Green! June 14 – 25 Learn more!

Both of Girls Inc.’s summer camps offer:

• Professionally trained staff.
• Age-appropriate programs and activities.
• Weekly field trips and swimming trips.
• Breakfast, lunch, and snack provided daily.
