Gabie Benson, Director of Development and Public Relations
Gabie Benson is the director of development and public relations at Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis. Gabie is responsible for fund development and external communications, ensuring that Girls Inc. has the resources to reach more girls each year.
Gabie joined Girls Inc. in April 2010 with more than eight years of development experience. She served as assistant director of development for the Indianapolis Museum of Art and associate director of annual giving for the Indiana University Foundation. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies from DePauw University, Gabie was drawn to the Girls Inc. mission of inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and boldSM. She is a member of DePauw’s Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Council and currently serves as vice president. Outside of work, Gabie enjoys inspiring girls from her hometown of Greenfield, Indiana as a dance instructor.
