Community Programs

Our community-based programs provide girls with the skills to build healthy relationships, explore personal values, and improve feelings of self-worth. We partner with after-school programs, community centers, libraries, churches and other community groups that regularly serve girls across Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks and Boone counties.

Community Partner News 

The LeGore Boys and Girls Club is a new community partner in our West Downtown hub. When unit director Juan Ongay was looking for a quality program for his pre-teen girls, he asked Girls Inc. to deliver “Growing Together,” a program that initiates and guides essential conversations about growing up. He said, “With all of the pressures facing the girls in our community, it was critical to find programming to address their needs and provide them with information that will encourage them to make healthy and informed choices."

It is this type of intentional collaboration that allows Girls Inc.’s outreach to thrive in greater Indianapolis. We are always eager to establish new partnerships.
