The numbers are in, and Girls Inc. is excited to once again share a year of immense growth!
2010, By The Numbers:
4,088 - our record-breaking number of program enrollments!- 2,622 - number of girls served in greater Indianapolis.
- 221 - number of outreach programs offered in 2010.
- 1,100 - total number of girls in greater Indianapolis enrolled in Work It Out, our anti-bullying program. Girls learned about being a good friend, as well as practical techniques to manage anger and hurt feelings.
- 210 - number of new curriculum binders reformatted and revised to ensure quality programs.
- 83 - number of girls who participated in the Girls Inc. Girls' Bill of Rights Celebration in May.
- 146 - total number of volunteers trained in 2010 to facilitate programs and inspire girls to be strong, smart, and boldSM.
- 20 - number of new program partners offering Girls Inc. programs at their location.
We are well on our way to continuing the record-breaking trend in 2011, as we started our winter program cycle with 74 programs being delivered throughout greater Indianapolis!
